Florida 2YOs Day-1: US$675k A.P.Indy Colt
Wednesday, 22nd April 2009
Darley America president Jimmy Bell (signing the sale ticket in the name of Sheikh Mohammed's bloodstock agent John Ferguson) paid the Day-1 top price of US$675,000 for a colt by A.P.Indy (the 2nd foal out of Gr1-winning Signal Tap mare Got Koko) consigned by Neal Sims as agent. Pin-hookers Carl Bowling & Ricky Leppala bought the Kentucky-bred colt (who clocked 10.4sec for 1 furlong during the pre-sale breeze-up session) for US$175,000 at the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale.
