$9.9k Desert King Heads 2009 Bombora Roster
Bombora Downs & Lynden Park Stallions announced their 2009 service fees, with Bombora's Christoph Bruchert declaring: "In uncertain times it is tempting to do nothing. The reality is there has never been a better opportunity to invest in this exciting industry. Australian racing & prize-money is still among the best in the world. Broodmare prices for the 1st time in many years offer very real investment opportunities & our stallions' service fees are following suit. The resultant progeny from this year's matings will have less competition both in the sales ring & on the racetrack. This is hardly the time to do nothing." The Bombora fees are:
- $9,900 Desert King (Danehill-Sabaah, by Nureyev)
- $5,500 Golden Snake (Danzig-Dubian, by High Line)
- $4,400 Lago Delight (Encosta de Lago-Sweet Delight, by Rancho Ruler)
