Florida 2YOs Day-3: US$170k Stormy Atlantic Filly

California-based trainer Greg Gilchrist (acting for Roger Dreyer) paid the Day-3 top price of US$170,000 for a filly by Stormy Atlantic (the 2nd foal out of winning 9YO Mr Greeley mare Virginia Miss) consigned by Randy Miles as agent. The Kentucky-bred filly (from the family of 2003 Gr1 Prix de Diane Hermes-French Oaks & Gr1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp winner Nebraska Tornado) clocked 10.0sec for 1 furlong in the pre-sale breeze-up session. She previously sold for US$30,000 at the 2008 Fasig-Tipton October yearling sale.
