Go Cart Wins Peter Gallagher Stakes

Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a black-type success when top-weighted 6YO gelding Go Cart (Danehill Dancer-Cubicle, by Scenic) made it 2 successive stakes wins in a fortnight with a short-neck victory in the $75,000 Listed Peter Gallagher Stakes (2144m) at Eagle Farm. Go Cart (ridden by Ryan Wiggins for trainer Steven O'Dea) defeated favoured 5YO gelding Rabbuka (Giant's Causeway-Explosive, by Fappiano) & 4YO gelding Drumshanbo (Kenfair-All Crowns, by Harold Of Hastings). Go Cart (a $62,500 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale) now has 8 wins (also including last start's Listed Japan Trophy over 2106m at Eagle Farm on April 11 & March's Listed Tattersall's Members' Cup Handicap over 1600m at Eagle Farm) & 9 placings from 31 starts for $362,350 earnings.
