In Ireland overnight, NZ Chequers Stud shuttler Ishiguru (Danzig-Strategic Manuever, by Cryptoclearance) added a black-type success when UK-bred 5YO mare She's Our Mark (Ishiguru-Markskeepingfaith, by Ajraas) scored a half-length victory in the €65,000 (A$121,000) Listed Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes (9.5 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Gowran Park. She's Our Mark (ridden by D.Grant for trainer Patrick Flynn) defeated 4YO mare Chinese White (Dalakhani-Chiang Mai, by Sadler's Wells) & 3YO filly Latin Love (Danehill Dancer-Ho Hi The Moon, by Be My Guest). Overall She's Our Mark now has 4 wins (also including 2007's Gr3 Desmond Stakes over 8 furlongs at Leopardstown) & 11 placings (including 2008's Gr3 Denny Cordell EBF Fillies Stakes over 9 furlongs at Gowran Park, Gr3 Athasi Stakes over 7 furlongs at The Curragh & Listed Hurry Harriet Stakes over 9.5 furlongs at Leopardstown, plus 2007's Gr3 Brownstown Stakes over 7 furlongs at Leopardstown, Listed Platinum Stakes over 8 furlongs at Cork & Listed Kilboy Estates Stakes over 9 furlongs at The Curragh) from 27 starts.
