Also in Italy overnight, dual-Derby winning Coolmore sire & former NZ Windsor Park shuttler Montjeu (Sadler's Wells-Floripedes, by Top Ville) added a black-type quinella when 6YO entire Storm Mountain (Montjeu-Lady Storm, by Mujadil) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the €61,000 (A$114,000) Listed Coppa D'Oro (3000m) for 4YOs & up at San Siro in Milan. Storm Mountain (ridden by S.Urru for trainer Bruno Grizzetti) defeated 7YO entire Montalegre (Montjeu-Alma Alegre, by Lahib) & Irish-bred 5YO entire Monosillabo (Daylami-Mocassino, by Turtle Island). Storm Mountain took his record to 6 wins (also including 2006's Listed Premio Emanuele Filiberto over 2000m at San Siro) & 3 placings (including 2008's Gr3 Premio Federico Tesio over 2200m at San Siro, plus 2006's Gr1 Derby Italiano over 2400m at The Capannelle & Listed Premio Gardone over 1600m at San Siro) from 11 starts.
