1st Winner For US Freshman Sire Grand Appointment

US stakes-winning 11-year-old freshman sire Grand Appointment (Unbridled-Grand Sophisticate, by El Gran Senor) recorded his 1st winner with his very 1st starter when 2YO colt Twelve Oclock High (Grand Appointment-High On Love, by Peaks And Valleys) led all-the-way to score on debut over 4.5 furlongs at Lone Star Park in Texas for trainer Michael Stewart. Twelve Oclock High was a US$2,500 weanling at the Louisiana August Sale & then passed-in for US$4,500 at this year's Texas March sale. Grand Appointment (who stands at Red River Farms in Louisiana) won the 2005 Sensational Star Handicap at Santa Anita among 6 victories from 21 starts for US$298,216 earnings.
