In Macau, 8 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 7YO gelding Always Twentyeight (Gold Carat-Fearless Blush, by Without Fear) won over 1050m for trainer Steve Leung.
  • 9YO gelding Teamhappy Sum (Danewin-Mehtaab, by Sackford) won over 1300m for trainer K.Leong. Teamhappy Sum was a $65,000 yearling at the 2001 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast & subsequently an $80,000 2YO at the 2001 Inglis Breeze-Up Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Happy Forever (Commands-Pause, by Brief Truce) won over 1050m for trainer Pat Lee.
  • 9YO gelding All Happy (Belong To Me-Vital Consent, by Pre Emptive Strike) won over 1300m for trainer K.S.Cheong.
  • 3YO entire Dr Zhivago (Fasliyev-Amatista, by Scenic) won over 1000m for Australian trainer Peter Leyshan. Dr Zhivago was a $45,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Fly Fly Fly (Volcanic Prince-Melandra, by Twig Moss) won over 1200m for trainers A.Ngai & Y.C.Chan. Fly Fly Fly was a $5,500 yearling at the 2005 Peter Milling Dubbo Sale & subsequently a $25,000 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding High Tide Kid (Desert King-Afilar, by Lord Seymour) won over 1500m for trainer Stephen Leung. High Tide Kid was a $36,000 yearling consigned by Inverness Stud at the 2005 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale & subsequently a $62,500 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Hunter River (Hayil-Princess Potter, by Potter Mcqueen) won over 1400m for trainer M.C.Tam. Hunter River was a $9,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Winter Sale.
