US trainer Michael Matz switched 3YO colt Nicanor (Dynaformer-La Ville Rouge, by Carson City) to the turf for his 4th career start (following 2nd-placings at his previous 2 runs) & the full-brother to 2006 Gr1 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro led all-the-way to demolish his rivals by 15.25-lengths over 8.5 furlongs at Delaware Park, reported bloodhorse.com. Nicanor races as a home-bred for Roy & Gretchen Jackson's Lael Stables.
