Amelia's Dream Returns To Pre-Training

Wednesday, 20th May 2009

Sydney trainer Gai Waterhouse's unbeaten 3YO filly Amelia's Dream (Redoute's Choice-Shalt Not, by St Covet) is back in work & enjoying a couple of weeks pre-training at Muskoka Farms. "Amelia looks fantastic. She has definitely grown & strengthened & is happy & well," commented Wendy Lapointe from Muskoka Farms on gaiwaterhouse.com.au. Former boom juvenile Amelia's Dream (a $250,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast) won her February 2008 debut at Canterbury Park in Sydney by 10-lengths & then March's Gr2 Silver Slipper Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill Gardens by 6.25-lengths, before a serious sesamoid injury ended the remainder of her juvenile campaign when hot favourite for last season's Gr1 Golden Slipper.
