Bonny And Clyde Wins Chile Gr1 1000 Guineas
In South America, unbeaten Bonny And Clyde (Auguri-Boundless Quest, by Gone West) made it 4 successive wins with a 2.5-lengths victory in Chile's Gr1 Clasico Mil Guineas-1000 Guineas (1600m) for 3YO fillies at Hipodromo Chile in Santiago. Bonny And Clyde (ridden by Guillermo Pontigo for trainer Alvaro Fernandez) defeated front-running Tia Exis (Tumblebrutus-Niza Balconera, by Gallanstky) & Trocatas (Tumblebrutus-Memita, by Memo). At her previous start, Bonny And Clyde also won Chile's Gr2 Gran Premio Criadores Salvador Hess Riveros (1500m) at Hipodrome Chile on August 1.
