Breasley Elevated To Hall-Of-Fame "Legend"

The other highlight of last night's ceremonies was the elevation of one of Australia's greatest jockeys Arthur "Scobie" Breasley to Australian Racing Hall-Of-Fame "Legend" (as voted by the public). Breasley joins inaugural Hall-Of-Fame "Legends" Phar Lap & Bart Cummings. In addition 7 racing icons were also officially inducted into the Australian Racing Hall-Of-Fame:
- Hall-Of-Fame Jockeys: Jim Johnson & Harold Badger
- Hall-Of-Fame Trainers: Bayly Payten & Jack Green
- Hall-Of-Fame Horses: Strawberry Road & Comic Court
- Hall-Of-Fame Associate: Bill Whittaker
