Moti Wins Mona Lisa Stakes

Gr1-winning NZ Haunui Farm sire Don Eduardo (Zabeel-Diamond Lover, by Sticks And Stones) added a black-type success when favoured 5YO mare Moti (Don Eduardo-It's Spring Again, by Last Tycoon) made it 3 successive wins since returning from a 26-weeks spell with a half-length victory in the $100,000 Listed Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) for fillies & mares at Wyong. Moti (ridden by Nash Rawiller for trainer Gai Waterhouse) defeated 4YO mare Ivory Pegasus (Fusaichi Pegasus-Red Ivory, by Ivory Way) & fellow 5YO mare Bejewelled (Anabaa-Bacchetto, by Canny Lad). Moti now has 7 wins (also including last start's Listed Toy Show Quality over 1400m at Randwick on August 22) & 2 runners-up from 12 starts for $244,800 earnings.
