1st Stakes-Winner For US Sire Black Mambo

US stakes-placed winning stallion Black Mambo (Kingmambo-Lassie's Lady, by Alydar) recorded his 1st stakes-winner when 3YO colt Big Push (Black Mambo-Listentothebells, by Allen's Prospect) scored by a neck in the US$60,000 Gilded Time Stakes (5.5 furlongs on turf) for 3YOs at Monmouth Park in New Jersey. Big Push (ridden by Elvis Trujillo for trainer Steve Klesaris) defeated fellow colts Ju Jitsu Jax (Tiger Ridge-Carol's Amore, by Two Punch) & Affirmatif (Unbridled's Song-Wichitoz, by Affirmed). Big Push (a US$45,000 2YO at the 2008 Ocala Breeders April Sale) now has 4 wins & 5 placings from 12 starts for US$162,684 earnings. Black Mambo stands for US$4,000 at Bridlewood Farm in Florida.
