Ibboyee (ridden by Cornelio Velasquez for trainer Todd Pletcher) defeated fellow colt Dahlgren Chapel (Chapel Royal-Devoted, by El Gran Senor) & the gelding Persian Ruler (Artax-Slacks, by High Brite). Ibboyee (initially a US$35,000 weanling at the 2007 Keeneland November Sale & later a US$120,000 yearling at the 2008 Fasig-Tipton August Sale) now has 2 wins from 2 starts for US$119,580 earnings. His sire Medallist (who retired with 5 wins from 12 starts, including victories in the Gr2 Dwyer Stakes, Gr3 Withers Stakes & Gr3 Deputy Minister Handicap) stands at Northview Stallion Station in Pennsylvania for US$5,000 & has 50 2YOs in his 1st crop.
