3 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 3 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley (click on the horse name to watch each race):

  • 6YO gelding Fly High (Iglesia-Subtle Siesta, by Seattle Siesta) won over 1000m for trainer Peter Ho. Fly High was a $110,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Steel Nerves (Commands-Coy Cowgirl, by Shy Rambler) won over 1200m for trainer Michael Chang. Steel Nerves was a $20,000 yearling at the 2005 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 9YO gelding Harry Harry (Hurricane Sky-Folio, by Imperial Baron) won over 1650m for trainer Manfred Man. Harry Harry was a $40,000 yearling at the 2002 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast & subsequently a NZ$100,000 2YO at the 2002 NZ Bloodstock Horses-In-Training Sale.
