- 3YO gelding Guangzhou Star (Dane Shadow-Magma, by Jade Hunter) won over 1200m for trainer K.H.Ng. Guangzhou Star was a $26,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale & subsequently a $30,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
- 5YO gelding Prince Gold (Zedrich-Army Princess, by Military Plume) won over 1600m for trainer Evert Van Bruekelen. Prince Gold was a $46,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
- 7YO gelding Wunderbar (Euclase-Merbla, by Carry A Smile) won over 1200m for trainer John McGillivray. Wunderbar was a $32,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
