US Gr1-winning millionaire 7YO freshman stallion Roman Ruler (Fusaichi Pegasus-Silvery Swan, by Silver Deputy) recorded his 15th 1st-crop winner & 1st stakes-winner when juvenile colt Seattle Ruler (Roman Ruler-Decades Of Style, by A.P.Indy) scored a 3-lengths victory in the US$108,000 Listed Barretts Juvenile Stakes (6.5 furlongs) for 2YOs at Fairplex Park in California. Seattle Ruler (ridden by Martin Garcia for trainer Mike Harrington) defeated fellow colts The Skinny Man (Indian Charlie-Young Star, by Capote) & Bench The Judge (Benchmark-Call A Judge, by Judge TC). Seattle Ruler (a US$27,000 yearling at the 2008 Barretts October Sale) now has a win & 2 placings from 6 starts for US$84,433 earnings. His sire Roman Ruler stands at Kentucky's Hill 'n' Dale Farms for US$20,000 & is shuttling for the 2009 Southern Hemisphere season to Argentina's Haras Vacacion.
