Italy Yearlings Day-1: Average Down 25.3%

Overall on Day-1 at the SGA Sale, 80 yearlings sold for €2,286,000 (A$3.886m) which was down 24.3% on last year's 79 sold for €3,021,000 (A$5.135m). The €28,575 (A$48,600) average was down 25.3% on last year's €38,240 (A$65,000); however the €25,000 (A$42,500) median remained the same. The clearance rate was 61% (last year 69%).
