Wife Of NZ Breeder Greg Meads Shot Dead
Thursday, 24th September 2009
In New Zealand, a "man has been arrested & charged with murder after the wife of high-profile horse-racing figure Greg Meads was found shot in Matamata" reported The New Zealand Herald. Hamilton detectives "started a homicide inquiry yesterday after being called to a property near Matamata racecourse, where officers found the body of Helen Meads in an outhouse". She was "the wife & business partner of horse breeder-trainer & Willow Park Stud owner Greg Meads (who until 3 days ago part-owned the top-performing Ginga Dude) & a mother of 3 children".
