Keeneland Yearlings Day-9: US$185,000 Unbridled's Song Colt
Friday, 25th September 2009
In the US, Baccari Bloodstock (acting for Benjamin Leon's Besilu Farm) paid top price of US$185,000 for a colt by former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Unbridled's Song (the 5th foal out of multiple graded stakes-winning 12-year-old Storm Cat mare Katz Me If You Can) during the 9th session at the 14-day Keeneland September Yearling Sale in Kentucky. The colt (whose half-sister was a US$400,000 purchase at last year's September Sale) was consigned by Eaton Sales as agent for Overbrook Farm's dispersal.
