Presente Wins Brazil Gr1 Premio Diana
Also in Brazil, the filly Presente (Know Heights-Go Who, by Jolly Quick) was 2nd-across-the-line by a head but then awarded victory by the stewards (for interference in the straight) in a dramatic climax to the Gr1 Premio Diana (2000m on turf & 3rd leg of Cidade Jardim's Triple Crown for 3YO fillies) in Sao Paulo. Presente (ridden by Joao Moreira for trainer Nelson Lima) defeated Hold Me Tight (Roi Normand-Indian Blossom, by Fred Astaire) who had crossed the line 1st & Queen Shu (Shudanz-Ornella In Love, by Nugget Point). Presente (who finished 4th in each of the initial 2 legs of the Triple Crown) took her overall record to 2 wins from 5 starts.
