Vupt Vapt Wins Brazil Gr1 Premio Jockey Club
In South America, front-running colt Vupt Vapt (Romarin-Ela Manda, by Stuka) led all-the-way to score a half-length victory in Brazil's Gr1 Grande Premio Jockey Club De Sao Paulo (2000m on turf & 2nd leg of Sao Paulo's Quadruple Crown series for 3YO males) at Hipodromo Cidade Jardim. Vupt Vapt (ridden by Jose Aparecido for trainer Milton Signoretti) defeated fellow colts Vasuveda (Thignon Lafre-Lua Soberana, by Pleasant Variety) & Tenarin (Romarin-Tenacite, by Pleasant Variety). Vupt Vapt took his record to 4 wins & 5 placings (including July's Listed Clasico Farwell over 1600m at Cidade Jardim) from 11 starts.
