All American Invited To Gr1 Hong Kong International
Last weekend’s Gr1 Emirates Stakes (1600m) winner All American (Red Ransom-Milva, by Strawberry Road) has received an invitation to run in the Gr1 Hong Kong International Mile (1600m) at Sha Tin on December 13. The 4YO entire has travelled from Melbourne to Perth “where he will run in the $1 million Gr1 Railway Stakes (1600m) at Ascot on Saturday week (November 21) before heading to Hong Kong” reported The Herald-Sun. Trainer David Hayes enthused: “His sectionals in winning the Emirates were just incredible. He's really going very well.” Corey Brown (who rode All American in Saturday's win) will partner the horse in Perth & Hong Kong. All American (a $220,000 yearling consigned by Strawberry Hill Stud at the 2007 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale) currently boasts 4 wins (also including 2008’s Gr3 Skyline Stakes over 1200m at Randwick & 2007’s Listed St Albans Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley) & 5 placings (including October’s Gr2 Patinack Farm Crystal Mile over 1600m at Moonee Valley & August’s Listed Aurie's Star Handicap over 1200m at Flemington, plus 2008’s Gr1 Coolmore Stud Stakes over 1200m at Flemington, Gr1 Arrowfield Stud Blue Diamond Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield & Gr2 Bill Stutt Stakes over 1600m at Moonee Valley) from 23 starts for $1,269,415 earnings.
