Monday, 15th March 2010

Ill-fated former Coolmore shuttler & multiple champion sire Danehill (Danzig-Razyana, by His Majesty) added a Gr1 triumph when 8YO gelding Zipping (Danehill-Social Scene, by Grand Lodge) snatched victory by a nose in the $1 million weight-for-age Gr1 Darley Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington in Melbourne. Zipping (ridden by Nicholas Hall for trainer Robert Hickmott) defeated 6YO gelding Sirmione (Encosta De Lago-World Guide, by Defensive Play) & 5YO gelding Moatize (Danehill Dancer-Shezabeel, by Zabeel).
