5 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong yesterday, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin (click on the horse name to watch a video replay of each race):

  • 3YO gelding Dr Win (Encosta de Lago-La Veine, by Diesis) won over 1200m for Australian trainer John Size. Dr Win was a $100,000 weanling at the 2007 Inglis Great Southern Sale & subsequently a $260,000 2YO at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Ready-To-Run Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Happy Reunion (Dubai Destination-Admiral's Lass, by Tong Po) won over 1200m for trainer Ricky Yui. Happy Reunion was passed-in as a yearling for $22,500 at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale & subsequently was a $125,000 2YO at the 2007 NZ Bloodstock Ready-To-Run Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Ming Hoi Treasure (Choisir-Madame Porscha, by Octagonal) won over 1600m for Australian trainer John Moore. Ming Hoi Treasure was a $200,000 yearling consigned by Edinglassie Stud at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO gelding Shining Victory (Untouchable-Madame Misty, by Luskin Star) won over 1000m for Australian trainer John Size. Shining Victory was a $40,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO gelding You Gotta Pay (Bianconi-Food Of Love, by Lunchtime) won over 1400m for Australian trainer John Size. You Gotta Pay was a $60,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
