3 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong yesterday, 3 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:

  • 6YO gelding Fantastic Dancer (Fantastic Light-Lamour, by Deputy Governor) won over 1800m for trainer Steven Woods. Fantastic Dancer was an $80,000 yearling at the 2005 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Flying China (French Deputy-Springtime Sunray, by Gulch) won over 1200m for trainer Alex Wong. Flying China was a $55,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Mandarin (Testa Rossa-Crown Quest, by Rory's Jester) won over 1400m for Australian trainer John Size. Mandarin was a $160,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
