$14k Drug Fines For Vic Trainer Clinton McDonald

The Victorian Racing Appeals & Disciplinary Board yesterday fined trainer Clinton McDonald a total of $14,000 after he pleaded guilty to 4 charges (& was fined $3,500 on each charge) relating to the prohibited substance 3-Methoxytyramine at a concentration in excess of the allowable limit in urine taken from his horses Mr Crane (winner at Echuca on November 3), Carleton (winner at Echuca on November 3), Mr Crane (winner at Seymour on November 19) & Shabtis (winner at Seymour on November 19).
