Ollie Tait Moves To UK In Darley Shuffle
Sheikh Mohammed's Darley breeding operation "has undergone a management re-shuffle with the news that its chief operating officer Ollie Tait (former general manager of Darley Australia) will now be based at Newmarket in England, having moved from America" reported racingpost.com. Sheikh Mohammed's bloodstock advisor John Ferguson commented: "He will continue to do what he is doing in America & our other studs around the world, but his desk will be in Newmarket to help me share the workload. He has worked for Darley in Australia, Japan & America & has a wealth of international experience." Tait took over as chief operating officer at Darley USA in November 2008, following the move of Dan Pride to the Fasig-Tipton sales company. He had previously worked for Darley in Australia & "helped oversee Sheikh Mohammed's A$500 million purchase of Woodlands Farm & its bloodstock from the Ingham family".
