7th Winner For US Freshman Sire Bandini
Tuesday, 5th October 2010
US Gr1-wining & track record-setting 8YO freshman stallion Bandini (Fusaichi Pegasus-Divine Dixie, by Dixieland Band) recorded his 7th 1st-crop winner when 2YO colt Dixie Cross (Bandini-Five Star Holding, by Five Star Day) scored over 6 furlongs on all-weather at Hollywood Park. Dixie Cross was initially a US$20,000 yearling at the 2009 Keeneland September Sale & later a US$70,000 2YO at this year's Ocala Breeders March Sale. (See also 6th winner below in Canada reports.)
