AJC Members Vote In Favour Of Sydney Clubs Merger

The AJC last night announced that members had voted in favour of the proposed merger with the Sydney Turf Club, despite only 1182 of its 8000 members registering a vote. While only 206 members attended the special general meeting held last night, AJC chairman Ron Finemore commented: "I am pleased to note that the membership of the club has recognized the future benefits of this merger for members and Sydney racing." STC members meet next Monday to vote on the merger with the AJC.
