In Ireland overnight, Former Coolmore shuttler & Gr1 English Derby winner Galileo (Sadler's Wells-Urban Sea, by Miswaki) added a juvenile black-type success when Ballydoyle-trained daughter Gemstone (Galileo-Kincob, by Kingmambo) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the €44,000 (A$62,000) Listed Lanwades & Staffordstown Stufs Stakes (9 furlongs) for 2YO fillies at The Curragh. Gemstone (ridden by Johnny Murtagh for trainer Aidan O'Brien) defeated Rising Wind (Shirocco-Right Key, by Key Of Luck) & Hurricane Havoc (Hurricane Run-Cheeky Madam, by Night Shift).
