20th Winner For Freshman Shuttler Holy Roman Emperor
Tuesday, 12th October 2010
In Ireland, dual Gr1-winning freshman sire & Coolmore shuttler Holy Roman Emperor (Danehill-L'On Vite, by Secretariat) recorded his 20th 1st-crop winner when 2YO colt Petronius Maximus (Holy Roman Emperor-Khamseh, by Thatching) scored over 6 furlongs at The Curragh for trainer Aidan O'Brien. Opatronius Maximus was a €170,000 (A$241,000) yearling at the 2009 Goffs Million Sale. He took his record to a win & 3 placings (including June's UK Listed Windsor Castle Stakes over 5 furlongs at Royal Ascot) from 6 starts.
