Distorted Humor Adds US Black-Type
Former Grand Lodge Thoroughbreds shuttler Distorted Humor (Forty Niner-Danzig's Beauty, by Danzig) added a US black-type success when favoured 4YO mare Stage Trick (Distorted Humor-Engaging, by Private Account) led all-the-way to blitz her rivals by 5.25-lengths in the US$50,000 Listed Rosenna Stakes (8.5 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Delaware Park. Stage Trick (ridden by Jeremy Rose for trainer Alan Goldberg) defeated 5YO mares Nicksappealinglady (Successful Appeal-That's My Double, by Darn That Alarm) & Haven's Honey (E Dubai-Slew Deputy, by French Deputy). Stage Trick (a US$190,000 yearling at the 2007 Keeneland September Sale) took her record to 5 wins & 2 placings (including June's Gr3 Obeah Handicap over 9 furlongs at Delaware Park) from 16 starts for US$197,917 earnings.
