US Sire Neko Bay Retired To Stud At Wintergreen

US Gr2-winning & Gr1-placed 7YO stallion Neko Bay (Giant's Causeway-Brulay, by Rubiano) has been retired from racing to stand the 2011 breeding season at Wintergreen Stallion Station in Kentucky. Neko Bay (whose Gr2-winning dam Brulay is a half-sister to Lemon Drop Kid & from the same female family as A.P.Indy & Summer Squall) recorded 5 wins (including January's Gr2 San Pasqual Handicap over 8.5 furlongs at Santa Anita) & 7 placings (including March's Gr1 Santa Anita Handicap over 10 furlongs at Santa Anita & 2009's Gr3 Native Diver Handicap over 9 furlongs at Hollywood Park, plus 2008's Listed Santana Mile Handicap over 8 furlongs at Santa Anita & 2007's Gr3 Tokyo Citu Cup Handicap over 9 furlongs at Santa Anita) from 14 starts for US$473,020 earnings.
