Dual Derby-winning Coolmore shuttler & 6-time Gr1 victor High Chaparral (Sadler's Wells-Kasora, by Darshaan) added a Gr1 triumph when favoured 4YO entire So You Think (High Chaparral-Triassic, by Tights) notched his 3rd successive Gr1 triumph (& 4th successive group victory since returning from a 42-weeks spell) with a 1.25-lengths win in Australia's unofficial weight-for-age championship, the $3 million Gr1 W.S.Cox Plate (2040m) at Mooney Valley in Melbourne, to claim this race for the 2nd successive year. So You Think (ridden by Steven Arnold for trainer Bart Cummings) defeated multiple Gr1-winning evergreen 9YO gelding Zipping (Danehill-Social Scene, by Grand Lodge) who placed in this race for the 3rd successive year & multiple Gr1-winning 5YO gelding Whobegotyou (Street Cry-Temple Of Peace, by Carnegie). So You Think (a NZ$110,000 yearling consigned from Windsor Park at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka) now has 7 wins (also including last start's Gr1 Yalumba Stakes over 2000m at Caulfield on October 9, September's Gr1 Underwood Stakes over 1800m at Caulfield & August's Gr2 Memsie Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield, plus 2009's Gr1 Cox Plate over 2040m at Moonee Valley & Gr3 Gloaming Stakes over 1800m at Rosehill) & 2 runners-up (in 2009's Gr1 Emirates Stakes over 1600m at Flemington & Listed Ming Dynasty Quality Handicap over 1400m at Randwick) from 10 starts for $4,681,850 earnings.
