Aust-Bred Jet Spur Colt Wins By 8-Lengths In Korea
In Korea, Glenlogan Park's Gr2-winning 2nd-crop stallion Jet Spur (Flying Spur-Verocative, by Bletchingly) produced a weekend highlight when Australian-bred 3YO colt Wangool (Jet Spur-Kosciusko Country, by Timber Country) notched his 4th win with an 8-lengths victory at Busan. Wangool (whose dam Kosciusko Country is a half-sister to 4-time Gr1-placed Palate) was an $18,000 purchase by Korean Racing Association bloodstock agent Lee Myung Gul at the 2009 Magic Millions National Horses-In-Training Sale on the Gold Coast. And Lee notched a 2nd success on the same card at Busan when Australian-bred gelding Muhanbulpae (Hussonet-Tears Of An Eagle, by Eagle Eyed) notched his 3rd win. Muhanbulpae was a $13,000 Magic Millions purchase at the Gold Coast last year.
