Nothing To Lose Son Wins QTIS 600 2YO Plate
Queensland's Willowbend Stud-based US turf Gr1-winning freshman stallion Nothing To Lose (Sky Classic-Cherlindrea, by Clever Trick) added a juvenile feature success when gelded son Collector (Nothing To Lose-Kosciusko Country, by Timber Country) scored a half-length victory in yesterday's $150,000 J.J.Atkins QTIS 600 Plate (1200m) for 2YOs at Toowoomba. Collector (ridden by Jason Holder for trainer Robert Bradshaw) defeated the colt Outback Grande (Outback Prince-Dane Grande, by Danzero) & favoured fellow gelding Mr Favulous (Falvelon-Miss Glamour Puss, by Lion Hunter). Collector (a $7,500 yearling consigned by Robyn Wise at the 2010 Magic Millions QTIS 600 Sale) now has 2 wins from 6 starts for $118,500 earnings.
