1st Winner For UK Freshman Sire Multiplex

Gr3-winning 8YO freshman stallion Multiplex (Danehill-Shirley Valentine, by Shirley Heights) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Queens Revenge (Multiplex-Retaliator, by Rudimentary) scored on debut over 5 furlongs at Ripon for trainer Tim Easterby. Queens Revenge (a half-sister to 4 winners) was a £14,000 (A$22,000) yearling at the 2010 Doncaster August Sale. Her sire Multiplex (from the immediate family of sires Warning & Commander In Chief) won France's 2005 Gr3 Prix la Rochette at Longchamp as a 2YO & in 2007 won France's Listed Prix De Montretout (1600m) at Longchamp & finished 3rd in France's Gr3 Prix Messidor (1600m) at Deauville; overall he retired with 4 wins & 2 placings from 8 starts. Multiplex stands at Mickley Stud for £3,000 (A$4,700) & has 77 2YOs to run for him this year.
