1st Winner For Irish Freshman Sire Baltic King
Wednesday, 20th April 2011
In Europe overnight, UK-bred & Irish-based multiple stakes-winning 11-year-old freshman stallion Baltic King (Danetime-Lindfield Belle, by Fairy King) recorded his 1st winner when Irish-bred 2YO colt Factory Time (Baltic King-Mark One, by Mark Of Esteem) scored over 5 furlongs at Bath in England for trainer Mick Channon. Factory Time was a 20,000 guineas (A$32,000) yearling. His sire Baltic King (who won 8 of 49 starts) stands for €3,000 (A$4,100) at Ireland's Tally-Ho Stud in County Westmeath.
