Deadline Change For Sydney Metro Sat Dual Acceptors
Thursday, 21st April 2011
Racing NSW will introduce "an earlier scratching time of 5pm on acceptance day" for dual acceptors at Metropolitan Saturday race meetings. Currently a horse can be declared an acceptor in more than one race on the same program & remain in both fields up to scratching time of 7:30am on raceday. From May 1, connections "will still be able to accept in more than one race at the 9am closing time, but they must decide by 5pm that day which race they will contest" (except where they are an emergency runner in one of the races).
