1st Winner For Argentine Star & Patinack Freshman Husson
In Argentina, unbeaten classic-winning Patinack Farm freshman stallion Husson (Hussonet-Villa Elisa, by Roy) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Lady Hussey (Husson-Tula, by Forlitano) clocked 56.08sec in scoring over 1000m at San Isidro in Buenos Aires. Husson (who retired to stud duties at Patinack undefeated in all 5 starts & a world record holder) is standing the upcoming breeding season for $22,000 at Patinack's NSW Hunter Valley farm. Husson was Argentina's 2006 champion 2YO, winning races by dominant margins of up to 9 lengths; he also ran times that placed him in the highest categories on world rankings, setting a world record for 1400m of 1min 18.98sec. Husson trained on as a 3YO to remain unbeaten & at 1600m convincingly defeated Asiatic Boy (UAE 3YO Triple Crown winner & subsequent runner-up in the Gr1 Dubai World Cup).
