Arrowfield Stud stallion & 5-time Gr1-winning 2nd-crop sire Starcraft (Soviet Star-Flying Floozie, by Pompeii Court) added a black-type success when equal-favourite & equal top-weighted daughter Ain'tnofallenstar (Starcraft-Ain't Seen Nothin', by Nothin' Leica Dane) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in yesterday's $100,000 Listed Laelia Stakes (1600m) for 3YO fillies at Morphettville. Ain'tnofallenstar (ridden by Ben Melham for trainer Lee Freedman) defeated Jalsah (Elusive Quality-Alqwah, by Danehill) & equal-favourite & equal top-weighted Fashion (Encosta De Lago-True Jewels, by Brief Truce). Ain'tnofallenstar (a $270,000 yearling consigned by Arrowfield at the 2009 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale) took her record to 4 wins (also including February's Listed Nitschke Stakes over 1400m at Morphettville Parks) & a placing (in March's Listed Adelaide Guineas over 1600m at Morphettville) from 13 starts for $172,030 earnings.
