1st Winner For US Freshman Sire Silent Name

US dual Gr2-winning & triple Gr1-placed Japanese-bred 9YO freshman stallion Silent Name (Sunday Silence-Danzigaway, by Danehill) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Silent Sue (Silent Name-Cold Porridge, by Tiffany Ice) scored over 4.5 furlongs on all-weather at Hollywood Park in California for trainer Walther Solis. Silent Sue was a US$18,000 yearling at the 2010 Keeneland September Sale. Her sire Silent Name (who stands for Adena Springs at McMahon Of Saratoga in New York for US$5,000) recorded 6 wins (including the 2006 Gr2 Arcadia Handicap on turf & 2007 Gr2 Commonwealth Breeders' Cup Stakes on Polytrack after collecting 2 stakes victories in France) & 6 placings (including the 2006 Gr1 Eddie Read Handicap & Gr1 Shoemaker Breeders' Cup Mile, plus 2007 Gr1 Frank Kilroe Mile) from 23 starts & earned US$663,432.
