Vinery Stud's 6-time Gr1-winning stallion Testa Rossa (Perugino-Bo Dapper, by Sir Dapper) added a juvenile black-type success (& 33rd individual stakes-winner) when his colt Fontelina (Testa Rossa-Decipher, by Timber Country) scored a 1.75-lengths victory in the $80,000 Listed Doomben Slipper (1350m) for 2YOs at Doomben. Fontelina (ridden by Luke Nolen for trainer Anthony Cummings) defeated the fillies Lucky Morna (Ferocity-Forty Winks, by Iglesia) & Cindarockinrella (Fastnet Rock-Call Me Pretty, by Peaks And Valleys). Fontelina (a $135,000 purchase consigned by Washpool Lodge at the 2010 Magic Millions National Horses-In-Training Sale) now has a win & a runner-up from 2 starts for $70,500 earnings.
