Coubertin Returns To Track After 1 Season At Stud

Thursday, 2nd June 2011

Impeccably-bred 5YO stallion Coubertin (Redoute’s Choice-Circles Of Gold, by Marscay) has rejoined the Tony Vasil stable after fertility problems plagued his sole season at Greta West Stud in Victoria last year, reported racenet.com.au. Coubertin is a 3/4-brother to multiple Gr1-winning sire Elvstroem & half-brother to multiple Gr1-winning sire Haradasun, while their dam Circles Of Gold won the Gr1 AJC Oaks at Randwick. Coubertin previously won 2 races (at 1300m & 1400m) from 7 starts before a suspensory injury forced his early retirement.
