In Japan, former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Fuji Kiseki (Sunday Silence-Millracer, by Le Fabuleux) added a black-type success when daughter Colorful Days (Fuji Kiseki-Ivory Color, by Kurofune) scored by a neck in the ¥54.4 million (A$631,000) Listed Kanto Oaks (2100m) for 3YO fillies at Kawasaki. Colorful Days (ridden by Yasunari Iwata for trainer Hideaki Fujiwara) defeated Pure Opal (Rock Of Gibraltar-Pure Brown, by Indian Charlie) & Manierisme (Zenno Rob Roy-Maniera, by Forty Niner). Colorful Days took her record to 3 wins & 5 placings from 10 starts for ¥57.3 million (A$665,000) earnings.
