3 Aust-Bred Winners in Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 3 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley:
- 7YO gelding Monte Cristo (Red Ransom-Clavarias, by Candy Stripes) won over 1650m for trainer Tony Millard. Monte Cristo was a $120,000 yearling consigned by Trelawney Stud at the 2005 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
- 4YO gelding Super Strike (Cape Cross-Our Evening Star, by Maroof) won over 2200m for trainer Andreas Schutz. Super Strike was a $190,000 2YO consigned by Lyndhurst Farm at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Horses-In-Training Sale.
- 4YO gelding Loads Of Joy (Face Value-More Than Fair, by Military Plume) won over 1200m for trainer Francis Lui. Loads Of Joy was a $26,000 weanling at the 2007 Inglis Great Southern Sale & subsequently a $75,000 yearling at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Select Sale.
