Qld Jockey Ryan Wiggins Suspended After Drugs Test

Queensland Racing stewards suspended jockey Ryan Wiggins for 12 meetings after his urine sample taken at Doomben on May 28 contained banned substances morphine & codeine at levels “exceeding the allowed threshold”. Stewards accepted Wiggins's explanation the reading was the result of taking pain medication prescribed to the jockey.
