1st Win For $300k Encosta De Lago Colt
Tuesday, 28th June 2011
Valuable 3YO colt Eucumbene (Encosta De Lago-Snowdrift, by Polish Precedent) recorded his 1st win (at his 2nd start, following a runner-up on debut on June 10) with victory over 1300m at Goulburn in NSW yesterday for trainer Guy Walter. Eucumbene (a half-brother to Gr1-winning sire Snowland, Gr2-winner Portillo & stakes-winning sire Snippetson) was a $300,000 yearling consigned by Tyreel Stud at the 2009 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
